Pay Scale

• Constable Pay Scale of Rs. 14000-70000/- with Grade Pay Rs. 5600/- and other Allowances, as admissible under the Rules.
• Sub Inspector (UB)/ SI (Communication), Station Officer/ Squad Commander & Assistant Jailor Pay Scale of Rs. 14000-70000/- (Pay Band No. 2) plus Rs. 8700/- Grade Pay plus other Allowances, as admissible under the Rules.
• Sub Inspector (AB) & Constable (AB) Pay Scale of Rs. 14000 70000/- (Pay Band No. 2) and Grade Pay as shown against each post plus other Allowances, as admissible under the Rules.
• Driver Constable, Constable (Dispatch Rider), Constable (Messenger), Constable (Handymen), Driver, Driver Operator in Fire & Emergency, Driver Constable Forest Department : Pay Scale of Rs. 14000-70000/- (Pay Band No.2) and Grade Pay as shown against each post plus other Allowances as admissible under the rules.
• Safai Karmachari : Pay Scale of Rs. 12000-52000/- (Pay Band-I) and Grade Pay Rs. 3900/- plus other Allowances, as admissible under the rules.

• H.S.L.C or Class-X passed from Govt. recognized Board or Council.

• H.S. or Class XII passed from Govt. recognized Board or Council.

• Applicant must be a graduate in Arts/Science/ Commerce or equivalent stream from a recognized College/Institution affiliated to a recognized University.

• B.Sc. (Electronics Science/ IT/ Computer Science) (10+2+3 duration). or
• 3-year Diploma from State Polytechnic in Electronics and Tele Communication, or Electronics or Information Technology, or Instrumentation or Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent with 2 years work experience in the field of Electronics, Telecom, IT or allied environment. or
• 3-year Diploma from State Polytechnic in Electronics and Tele Communication, or Electronics or Information Technology, or Instrumentation or Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent and 2 years additional course/courses in Telecommunication /IT /Computer Science/ Computer Engineering or equivalent. or
• Master of Computer Application (MCA) or
• B.E./ B. Tec. in E & TC or Computer or Instrumentation or IT or equivalent qualification in same discipline.

• B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics from a recognized College/Institution affiliated to a recognized University.

• The Applicant must be a graduate in Arts /Science/Commerce or equivalent stream from a recognized College/Institution affiliated to a recognized University.

• The Applicant must pass HSLC or Equivalent examination from a recognized Board or Council.

• HSLC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council.
• For the post of Driver Constable in Assam Police, Constable (Dispatch Rider), Constable (Messenger) & Constable (Handymen) in APRO and Driver and Driver Constable in Forest Department, Applicant must possess valid driving license for LMV or MMV or HMV.
• For the post of Driver and Driver Operator in F & ES, Applicant must possess valid driving license for HMV

• Minimum Class VI passed from a recognized School or Institution and maximum qualification will be HSSLC or Class XII passed from recognized Board or Council.
• Other Certificate : Training Certificate issued by Sector Skill Council (SSC). or
• Minimum 01 (one) year work Experience Certificate from registered NGO/Municipality Board/Govt. Departments.
