• Chauffeur (Driver) : Pay Scale : Rs. 14000 – 70000/-, Grade Pay Rs. 5200.
• Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) : Pay Scale Rs. 12000 – 52000/-, Grade Pay Rs. 3900/-

Eligibility

• Minimum VIII passed, but not XII passed.

• Class X/ HSLC passed.
• Valid LMV driving license.

• Must possess a Bachelors degree from a recognized University preferably with a
  diploma in Stenography in English with minimum speed of 120 wpm in shorthand
  and 50 wpm on a computer. Due weightage will be given to a law graduate
• Applicants must furnish a valid Employment Exchange Registration Number for the state of Assam as this post is of the Principal Seat of the Gauhati High Court.

• The candidate must be a graduate from a UGC recognized University as on the date of advertisement.
• Should possess a Diploma/Certificate in Stenographer/Shorthand from ITI/Polytechnic/ any other recognized institute. Candidates who are pursuing Stenography/Shorthand may also apply. However they must submit pass/completion certificate/diploma to the Hight Court at the time of document verification, unless otherwise decided by the High Court.
• Must have adequate knowledge of the official language (Assamese) of the State of Assam.
